World Of Warcraft Classic returns to the Wrath Of The Lich King expansion in September, but there’s a pre-patch coming today that resurrects the game’s first hero class a little early.
The WoW WotLK Classic pre-patch is set to go live on Tuesday, August 30th. When it comes to NA servers, it will launch between 7 pm PT and 8 pm PT. However, if you live in Europe, the WotLK Classic Pre-Patch release time is a little bit different. For EU servers, the launch time is Wednesday morning. The WOW WotLK Classic Pre-Patch goes live on EU servers on August 31st between 3 am and 5 am CEST.
In short, players will be able to create their first Death Knight starting on 30th August 2022 once the WotLK Classic pre-patch goes live. The Rise of Death Knights – Available to both factions and starting at level 55, Death Knights - World of Warcraft’s first hero class - harness the powers of darkness to help combat the evil that threatens Azeroth. While Death Knights are limited to one per server and require a level 55 character on that server to create, in Wrath Classic, we will be bypassing that requirement for a player’s first Death Knight.
New Profession Inscription – This new profession allows players to scribe mystical glyphs that modify the properties of spells and abilities (cooldowns, damage, etc.), and craft powerful trinkets and off-hand items.
A zombie plague arrives in WOW Classic from September 6th, when mysterious disease-ridden containers will start cropping up at the game’s dodgier ports. Touch them and you’ll be infected with a variant of the Scourge plague, which can be cleansed by an Argent Healer. Don’t heal and your character becomes a Plague Zombie, able to infect other players but not use any of your existing abilities. From September 13th you’ll have to contend with Scourge invasions into major cities too, battling rare undead at hotspots around the map.
